Our commitment

The Arvind Choudhary for Mayor campaign is committed to meeting the accessibility requirements of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA) and its Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation. This website is built to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, Level AA.

That includes, among other measures:

• Text alternatives for every meaningful image;
• Full keyboard operability, with a visible focus indicator and a skip-to-content link;
• Colour contrast meeting or exceeding AA thresholds, and no information conveyed by colour alone;
• Text that can be resized to 200% without loss of content, and zoom never disabled;
• Reduced-motion preferences respected throughout;
• Proper headings, landmarks and language declarations, including on our multilingual lawn-sign page, which announces each selected language to assistive technology.

Accessible formats and communication supports

Campaign materials are available in accessible formats on request, at no cost. If you need this website’s content, our platform, or any campaign material in another format (large print, plain text, or another language), contact us and we will arrange it promptly.
