A proud Oakville resident, I am a dedicated leader, executive, and community advocate committed to building a prosperous future for all. Residing in the Glen Abbey Encore neighborhood with my wife, Ruby, and our two daughters, Pankhudi and Prachi, I have deep roots in the community which fuel my passion for ensuring Oakville remains a premier place to live, work, and thrive.

 

I bring over 30 years of diverse global experience to the table. Currently an executive at one of Canada’s leading credit bureaus, my career spans leadership roles across the high-tech, manufacturing, financial, real estate and travel sectors. My unique blend of technical expertise and business acumen is backed by a rigorous academic foundation:

• MBA in Information Technology & International Business
• Post Graduate Diploma in Software Technology
• Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Hons. in Mathematics

As a licensed realtor and a member of the OREA Government Relation Committee, I understand the intersection of policy, economic growth, and the housing needs of a growing municipality.

 

Beyond the boardroom, I am a man of the arts and an active mentor. A trained percussionist specializing in the Tabla, Dholak, and Punjabi Dhol, I have shared the gift of music with Oakville’s youth for decades. In my household, music is a way of life between myself and my daughters, they play over 15 different instruments.

 

My approach to social service is guided by the courage and compassion of my heroes: Mahatma Gandhi and Nelson Mandela.
